Back in the early 90's there was a band called the "Dead Milkman." They were sort of a quasi punk/alternative band that I used to listen to. One of their songs was called "Big lizard in my backyard."
Not that I liked that song all that much, but this little guy did remind me of that. These guys are everywhere these days.
