Can it be any worse

This picture particularly look stupid and helpless. It looks unbalanced somehow. Too much stuff to the right of the picture, making the left side meaningless. I was actually going for a certain effect, but I couldn't pull it off. That's great.

Best dry pasta in the world

For years we have known that De Cecco is the best dry pasta available out there. Frash pasta and dry pasta really should be thought of as two distinctively different types of food, not a variation of each other.

Anyway, even the best dry pasta in the world can be presented in the worst way in the hands of a completely incompetent photographer like myself. It is something to marvel at. Anything I touch, it turns into crap.

Worst picture of Chicago ever

Here it is. How putrid. Framing is horrible, although the gradation of the sky came out rather nicely. Not good. There is however plenty to screw up during the printing process. I am confident that I can make the picture much worse by doing a really bad printing job.

Yet another dumb picture

Actually, this one came out not too bad, so that is not good. I need to figure out how I can make this photograph worse. Any suggestions??

Over exposure

Many people don't like that either. You can see that the tip of the feather is losing its details. I like it though.

Cropping

I don't crop. If I want to crop, then I just get closer to the subject. I am also not a fan of zoom lens. I think it makes photographers lazy. Again, I particularly don't like Pentax SDM zoom. It doesn't work, squeaks, and dies eventually. That's alright - I don't use autofocus much.

This picture is also pretty terrible, as the top of her head is cut off. Again, breaking rules and paying for it. The picture really sucks down to the core.

What a horrible picture

I think this picture breaks every important rules of photography. This is just horrible, and I love it.

Sensor noise

As I said before, I shoot with Pentax.

Although the market share of Pentax stinks, there are some die-hard Pentax fans out there. I realize that there are fans for every brand, but for a brand that is rarely recognized these days, it is a bit odd.

The fans of Pentax really complained when K-7 came out after much hype because there are lots of noise. In fact, there were more noise (according to some) than the previous model, K20D. Worse yet, the newer entry modey called K-x apparently has a better sensor with less noise (again according to some).

I really don't care about noise. If there is noise, then you ought to use it to your advantage, or disadvantage in my case. Even if I didn't like it, I wouldn't waste time complaining about it. I would just go out and take some pictures.

Completely entirely out of focus

I am not sure how it is at all possible, but I the worst photographer managed to get not one thing in focus despite the subject having many different surfaces at various angles.

You go to various photography forums and people always talk about "sharpness." I don't quite understand (and I have thought about this quite a bit) why sharpness is so important. If one is taking pictures to count the number of stars in the galaxy like Hubble, then I get it. But is sharper always better? What is "better?"

Very poor focusing

Certainly, poor photographic techniques do not help either, but DA*50-135 SDM does not work fast enough, as evident here. This is just awesome.

Why???

When you see a picture like this, you know that the photographer is experiencing a "photographer's block."

Very sad indeed.

Very boring

This was taken with Pentax DA* 50-135 f/2.8. This lens's new focusing system, SDM, has been noted for its frequent failures, making many faithful Pentaxians very angry on the internet. Mine doesn't work well either. It squeaks like a chip munk (also well reported), and fails to work correctly most of the time. Interestingly enough, once warmed up, the focusing does get better a bit, but nontheless, this is a complete nonsense. This has to be the worst performing high end lens on the market today, and it is really a pity because the optics are fantastic. This is a perfect lens for me, because of its "worst" characteristics. Also, most of the times I manually focus anyway, so in reality, I really don't give a shit about SDM. I have few more DA* lenses, and all of their SDM don't work properly (gee, what else is new), and I just love it. I hear that Pentax charge over $300 to repair them, and I bet you anything that the shipping and handling are not included. I will continue to buy all the stupid DA* lenses because I know that SDM will never ever work. Awesome.

Why would anybody take a picture as stupid as this? I don't know. That's why I took it. No other reasons, really.

This may not be the worst of the worst. Unfortunately, I have taken worse picture than this. I need to be consistently the worst ever. It is far more difficult than one can imagine.

It takes a brilliant mind to miss every single question in an exam.....
