Oh yeah, we did go tasting . . . .

If you get off of freeway 15 at Rancho California road, and then head north, you will see one winery after another. If you are into good wine, I say you skip all of them and go straight to this place. They are about 8 miles from the freeway, and it is on the right hand side.

They are the smallest winery in Temecula. Unlike all the other, there is no restaurant there, although if you join their wine club (for free and we did), you will be invited to their wine tasting parties, where the wife of the owner will cook for everybody.

The owner family is the nicest. They are originally from Argentina. Very friendly. The tasting is reservation only, but you can just show up there, and they will open the door for you.

We love their wine. Just superb.

Rough sea??

It didn't look like much from the shore, but once you get close to it via the pier that sicks out there, you can see how rough it was. Surfers were by and large wiping out, not catching much of the waves.

Beach and over exposure

I think that beach is one place where one can use the tendency to over expose to your advantage. Or just another excuse for a bad picture.

San Diego - once again

After 2 days in Temecula, we moved on down to San Diego. This is our second trip to San Diego in a little over a month or so. San Diego is alright. Beautiful and all that.
